• He was buried after 16 November 1871 in the Frederick Evangelical Reformed Cemetery in Frederick, MD.

The Evangelical Reformed Church and Cemetery were (abandoned) in 1924. Now the present site of the Memorial Grounds Park, 210 North Bentz St. Frederick, Frederick County, MD. A bronze plaque was erected to establish the burials of the earliest setters in Frederick. No stones exist today and many of these internments were originally at the Trinity Chapel (abandoned). The plaque in Memorial Grounds Park has been able to add 366 inscriptions from the two cemeteries. There are 30 more names recorded on a plaque at the Trinity Chapel cemetery.
