The gravestone for Harmon and his wife Candas is a polished vertical face monument of gray granite. One one side the name DARNER is carved in the face. On the other side, it reads "Harmon E. 1847 - 1928; Candas A. 1849 - 1929".

The cause of her death was Pneumonia.⁷
