Only the immediate friends of the family were present to witness this happy union of hearts. Both are young people, well known in this community and their large circle of friends will invite in wishing them a long life together of happiness and prosperity.

From Ferne Norris; Lloyd Connell was a farmer east of Brooklyn and Rose a busy midwife who delivered many local babies. A lovely picture of her and an interview from The Brooklyn Chronicle shows her to be an attractive and evidently interesting lady. Harvey Jones, with whom she lived in her later years, said she was a wonderful mother-in-law.
