  General Notes:

There seems to have been 2 different Peter Bisers living in Mineral County, West Virginia around the time of 1875-1880. There was a Peter Biser married to Mary as evidenced by a record of birth to a son in Jun 1875. The other Peter Biser was married to Ann C. in 1875 at the birth of their son, Levi, so that means the two Peter Bisers were not the same person.

NOTE - Peter was recently widowed and had two young children for which to care. Both Taylor Biser and Susan Biser were listed as "other" relationship to Peter, but they must have been cousins or other close relatives who might have been there to help raise his children. Also in the household at the time was Eliza Hershman whom Peter would marry in September of that year.

Peter married Ann C. about 1875. (Ann C. was born about 1832 and died before 1 June 1880.)

Peter next married Eliza A. Hershman, daughter of Aton. Hershman and Elizabeth, on 7 September 1880 in , Mineral County, WV.¹ (Eliza A. Hershman was born in 1850 in West Virginia ⁴ and died after 7 September 1880.)
