George Oliver, son of Griffith and Elizabeth Taylor, was born in Orchardville May 7, 1870 and died in Johnsonville March 14. He had four children: Herbert of Bloomington and three others, Ernest and Goldie, who died in infancy and Roxy who died in early womanhood. The obit named his four sisters and two brothers who have died. He leaves one sister, Amy Bratton, of Spokane, Washington, three grandsons, Ira, Fred and Noel Manring and one granddaughter, Nola Massie of Mt. Erie. Burial in Johnsonville Cemetery.
