bullet  General Notes:

Elizabeth was named in her father's will but unlike her other siblings, she received no land bequeaths. Instead she was given only one Negro slave. Her married daughter, Francis Bullock, was specifically mentioned in the will and she was bequeathed one Negro slave woman provided that Francis had at least one child.

Elizabeth's death date of "After 21 Nov 1829" is based on the fact that Daniel's will at that time specifically named her and therefore she is assumed to have been alive at the time.
------------------------------------------

There is an Elizabeth Hackey found in the 1850 US Census of Caroline County, Virginia. She was probably widowed, born in about 1776 in Virginia and has 4 children living with her, all aged 36-44 years. The children's names are George D., Matilda J., Robert, and Eliza A. I'm not sure if this is the correct family or not.
----------------------------------

The 1850 and 1860 US Census records from Fluvanna County, Virginia show an Elizabeth McCauley living at the home of Elizabeth Lightfoot's married daughter, Frances. This could be Elizabeth Lightfoot who might have been remarried following the death of her husband Benjamin Hackney.

The 1850 US Census shows this Elizabeth to be 65 years old and born in Virginia. The 1860 US Census shows her to be 75 years old and born in Virginia. Both ages and birth location precisely match those of Elizabeth Lightfoot.

However, no marriage record between Elizabeth and this McCauley has yet been found in Fluvanna County, Virginia or elsewhere in Virginia.
