Mary married John Ernsberger, son of Christopher Arnsberger and Catherine Elizabeth Fahrner, in 1827 in Richland, Ohio, United States. (John Ernsberger was born in 1779 in Washington, Maryland, United States,1 4 died on 20 October 1858 in Cedar Rapids, Linn, Iowa, United States and was buried on 22 October 1858 in Jones, Iowa, United States.)

bullet  Noted events in their marriage were:

1. 1850 US Census, 22 August 1850, Mifflin Township, Richland, Ohio, United States. 3 Page 247B, Roll 724, Dwelling 175, Family 175

John Ernsberger...71..MD
Mary Ernsberger...52..VA
Levi Ernsberger...21..OH
Sarah Ernsberger...17..OH
Daniel Ernsberger...14..OH
Caroline Ernsberger...21..NH
Harris Hastings...22..NH

NOTE - Caroline Ernsberger was actually Caroline Hastings who was the wife of Levi Ernsberger. Harris Hastings must have been her brother. The death certificate for their son, Daniel Franklin Ernsberger, lists his father as Levi Ernsberger and his mother as Caroline Hastings. No other proof of their marriage seems to exist.

The name of the son David Ernsberger is missing from this 1870 census and for the first the name of Daniel Ernsberger is shown but strangely with the same approximate year of birth. I'm not sure if they were two different people or two different names for the same person.
