John J. Culler served in the Union Army during the Civil War, in Co. B 120th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He enlisted on August 11, 1862 as a Private, age 19. He died at the Jefferson Barracks Post Hospital, Missouri, of dysentery, on February 3, 1863. He is buried in section 65, grave 171. He had no descendants.
