5 Philip C. Darner, 57, died Sunday in Philadelphia, where he lived the last 35 years. A former Cedar Rapids resident, he is survived by 2 sisters, including Mrs. M. V. Burke of Cedar Rapids.

The body will arrive early Thursday at Beatty-Beurle's where friends may call from 10 to 2. Graveside services will be held in Linwood Thursday at 3.
