This may be a child from a previous marriage. Her birth year was 1876 yet George and Malida were not married until about 1878, according to the 1900 census record.

She appears with George and Malinda only for the 1880 census when she was about 4 years old. She does not appear with them ever again leading one to wonder if she was not really raised by her biological mother who might have been George's 1st wife.

In the 1930 census, she was widowed and living with a daughter and her widowed father, George.
