Elizabeth, the daughter of Anna Catherine Fast-Hampsted, who possibly was the same Elizabeth that was married to Irone(?) Fapp according to the 1870 US Census. Elizabeth's age was given on the census as 41 which would make her birth year about 1829 and she was born in Indiana. This could be a reasonable match for the birth year of Anna Catherine's daughter, Elizabeth, except that the daughter was most probably was born in Ohio instead of Indiana.
Elizabeth was reportedly married to Alexander Roberts on 9 Apr 1846 in Jasper County, Illinois. Appearing on this 1870 US Census with the Fapp family was David Roberts, age 4, born in Illinois. It appears likely that the marriage to Alexander Roberts did not last too long and that Elizabeth was remarried to Irone(?) Fapp sometime between 1866 and 1870. Other children listed on the 1870 census include Isaac, age 12, Sarah, age 9, and Mary J., age 3. Isaac and Sarah were probably children born to a first wife of Irone(?) and it remains questionable if the youngest, Mary, might have been born to Elizabeth.
