• Her obituary was published in the Coshocton Tribune on 17 March 1971 in Coshocton County, OH.

⁴ Mrs. Elizabeth M. Darner, 69, of 907 Spring street, died at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday at the ODC Nursing Home on East pike. She had been ill for three years.

A native of Coshocton County, she was born April 18, 1901, a daughter of Joseph and Lulu Wright Detterline. Her husband, Lewis, preceded her in death in 1969.

Surviving are three sons, Floyd of 315 Downing drive; Eugene of 703 Grove avenue and Junior Darner of 4910 Barker's Run road; a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Elsie) Whitehead of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Carl Detterline and a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Kentes both of Dover; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body is at Delong and Baker Funeral Home where friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
