"Frances Anne, youngest of the five children of John Jacob and Anne (SLANKER) FAST, was born in Canton, Ohio, June 17, 1846. She did not marry. Her death occurred October 25, 1925. She was buried in Westlawn Cemetery, in Canton. Though unmarried and with no family of her own, "Aunt Francie", as she was affectionately called by her younger relatives, lived her life for others and left hosts of precious memories in the hearts of those she had loved and served with a devotion that had made her own life rich. The following brief tribute was paid to her memory by Robert Kuhn FAST:

Aunt Francie's life was marked by a self-sacrificing devotion to her family. In youth she sacrificed her own plans for her brother's orphan family; in middle life she lavished care on her invalid mother for a period of ten years; in her declining years her nephews and nieces, her great-nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces turned to her for devotion."
