General Notes:
(Source: Richard B. Edgell, email 4/27/2013) First, I will mention the remembrances. My father is Clarence Dean's elder brother (Wendell Ray Edgell). I remember family get-togethers and the generosity of "Uncle C. D." and "Aunt Virginia." Uncle C. D. allowed us to visit him and took us boating on a lake. Aunt Virginia noticed at one family gathering that I was bored. When she learned that I knew how to play chess, she had me teach her and then played chess with me, so that I would have something to do. I think that was very generous. I also remember the three daughters, but have not heard from them for years. I think my mother still keeps in touch. As you probably know, Uncle C. D. married again after Aunt Virginia died. --------------------------------
