Hudson married Hattie Swope, daughter of Eli Swope and Lydia Fiant, about 1879.1 2 (Hattie Swope was born on 22 September 1861 in , Wood County, OH,2 8 9 died on 30 May 1939 in Fostoria, OH 8 9 and was buried on 1 June 1939 in Fostoria, OH 8 9.). The cause of her death was Kidney stones (renal lithiasis).5

Hudson and Hattie were both born in Ohio. I don't know the exact marriage location in about 1879 but they appeared in the 1880 US Census in Gratiot County, Michigan. They then moved to Johnson County, Missouri for a few years after 1880 where their daughter, Allie, was born in 1882. By June of 1900, they had moved to Paulding County, Ohio were they appeared once again in the census. By the time of their deaths, they were living in Fostoria, Seneca County, Ohio.
