  General Notes:

The 1912 marriage record for "Monroe Wiltfong" lists the bride's name as "Nellie Jones" but also as this marriage being her second marriage. Her maiden name was also listed as Jones, thus accounting for some family files listing her as Sarah Jones Jones. I'm not sure if this is an erroneous listing of the record with multiple errors or if Sarah E. Jones was actually previously married to someone named Jones. I can find no such record of a previous marriage for Sarah Jones.

The birth year given for Nellie Jones on the marriage record would also mean that she was born in 1857 instead of 1848 as expected for Sarah Jones. Sarah could not have been born in 1857 because she was listed with her parents on the 1850 US Census. Either this Nellie was a different person or the birth year is incorrect on the marriage record.

Because of the birth year, one would suspect that this Nellie Jones was not the same person as Sarah Jones except that the marriage record does list the parents as the same parents for Sarah Jones.
