  Marriage Notes:

Based on the birth locations of their children, it appears that Frank and Clara were probably married in Iowa where they lived for a few years and where their daughter Minnie was born. They then moved to Minnesota, presumably in Minneapolis, where the rest of their children were born.

The 1910 US Census shows Clara living near Saint Louis, Missouri with an uncle, Joseph Werner and his family. Living with Clara were her children Minnie and Ernest. There was no mention of Clara's husband, Frank and he is not found anywhere in the 1910 US Census.

The 1920 US Census shows Frank and Clara living together again in Minneapolis, Minnesota with 5 children.

Apparently they were divorced sometime between 1920 and 1930. The 1930 US Census shows Clara living in Minneapolis with 4 children. Frank is not found anywhere in the 1930 US Census but lived until 1953.
