10 MRS. HENRY N. STARR DIED - WEDNESDAY IN BOARDMAN
Mrs. Sarah Moherman Starr, 84, wife of Henry N. Starr, died at 5:40 Wednesday morning at the family home in Boardman, following an illness of three months of heart trouble. Deceased was born in Austintown township Feb. 12, 1852, a daughter of pioneers Winchester and Samantha Moherman. She was married to Mr. Starr Jan 1, 1879, and the couple established a home in western Boardman township, leaving it some years ago for a new one in Boardman Center. When residing near Canfield she was a member of the Presbyterian church and one of the most active women in this work. After removal to Boardman she took her letter to the Methodist church, taking equal interest in its upbuilding. Quiet and unassuming, her lovable traits of character endeared her to a wide circle of friends. Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Stella and Maude, at home, and a son, Clifford, and two grandsons, of Lancaster, Calif., and two sisters, Miss Maude Moherman and Mrs. W.W. Woodward, both of Youngstown. Funeral services will be held from the family home Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Dr. H.H. Scott, followed by burial in Canfield village cemetery.
