⁸ Mrs. Annie E. Ressler, 86, widow of Abram Ressler, who made her home with Mr. and Mrs. John Bunts of Canfield, died of a heart ailment at 8:55 p.m. Sunday in the South Side hospital, Youngstown, following a 10-day illness. She was in the hospital one day. A daughter of Peter and Catherine Toot, she was born Aug. 7, 1863 (sic), on a farm in Green township, where she spent most of her life. She was a member of the Concord Presbyterian church. Surviving are one son, Earl, of R.D. 4, Salem; two grandchildren and one great-grandson. Her husband died 18 years ago. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. E. M. Parks, pastor of the Salem Nazarene church were held Wednesday afternoon at the Williams Funeral Home in Canfield, and burial made in Ridge cemetery.

Some researchers show a second son named Lee Ressler born about 1895. However, there are no records or source citations to prove that birth. On the 1900 and 1910 US Census records, Elizabeth showed that she had given birth to only one child total.
