Marriage Notes:
There is something unusual about the supposed death of Alfred W. Mowers which according to census records occurred sometime between 1900 and 1910. The 1910 census shows Maria noted as being widowed but living with her father. There is no mention of any of her children who would have ranged in age from 10 to 22. On the 1920 census, Maria is living with 2 of her children but there is no record for any of the others.
