There is a little confusion amongst various researchers concerning Charles' actual date of death. All give the month of April in 1976 but the day varies from 13th, 23rd, 26th, or even the 28th. I have yet to see any reliable source citations from any of these researchers. His gravestone gives the date of 23 Apr 1976. His obituary was published in the Frederick News Post on 24 Apr 1976 and it placed his death on 23 Apr 1976.
