  Marriage Notes:

John first married a lady named Dora Janetta "Nettie" Ray. Dora had been married once before she married John. In the picture on the right is John with his first wife Dora and Dora's daughter Bertha from her first marriage. After this marriage Bertha then went by Arnspiger and I have not yet been able to find out if Bertha "adopted" the name of Arnspiger or if John actually did legally adopt Bertha?? Bertha was buried with the name of Arnspiger and is in the City of Portland death index as such, as well. John and Dora eventually divorced and John later remarried to his second wife.
