bullet  General Notes:

On the Sep 1918 World War I Draft Registration Card filled out and signed by her husband, he entered her name as Marinda Pearl Lightfoot instead of the commonly expected Pearl Miranda Lightfoot. No birth certificate or other source citation can be found that shows her name as Miranda instead of Marinda.

Most documents during her adult life show a first name of Pearl except for the 1940 census upon which she shows as Malinda P. Lightfoot. Her gravestone is marked as Pearl M. Lightfoot.

NOTE - The father, King, was temporarily staying with his son, Elbert. King's wife, Amelia, and the rest of his family remained back in Texas County, Missouri. By the 1910 Census, the family was back living together in Craig County, Oklahoma. It's not clear if King was separated from his wife at the time due to disputes or if he merely went out to Oklahoma in advance of moving his entire family there.
