• They appeared on the 1920 US Census in Township 4, Craig County, OK on January 1920. 2 • Divorced: Initial Filing, 21 July 1927, Craig County, OK.
NOTE - It is interesting that in just a few months following the marriage ceremony on 4 Oct 1919, Mary indicated that she was 17 years old for the 1920 census conducted in January which would place her birth year as approximately 1902. Since the marriage ceremony occurred in 1919, that would have made her about 17 years old at the time of the marriage yet she indicated on the marriage license that she was 18. ![]() Chester next married Beulah between 1920 and 1930.3 (Beulah was born in 1901 in Oklahoma 3 and died after 1 April 1930.)
• They appeared on the 1930 US Census in Vinita, OK on April 1930. 3
Although the 1930 census clearly shows a wife with the name of Beulah Lightfoot, there seems to be no evidence of a marriage for Chester R. Lightfoot to anyone with the name of Beulah or any other name prior to 1930 other than Mary Ella Marsh, his first wife in 1919. ![]() Chester next married Peggy Marie Hood on 17 February 1935 in Craig County, OK.4 5 (Peggy Marie Hood was born on 13 April 1912 in Oklahoma 5 and died after 17 February 1935.)
This marriage license shows "Miss Peggy Marie Hood" on the application but it also indicates that she had been previously married. So it is not clear if Hood would have been a previously married name or her maiden name. ![]() Chester next married Patsy Marie Harrison on 29 January 1939 in Benton County, AR.6 (Patsy Marie Harrison was born on 13 April 1912 in Claremore, OK, died on 26 February 2001 and was buried on 1 March 2001 in Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, Craig, Oklahoma, United States.)
• They appeared on the 1940 US Census in Vinita, OK on 20 April 1940. 5 |
