  Marriage Notes:

The LDS index for the 1880 US Census has some errors that may confuse many researchers. They provide separate entries for George and Ruth leading one to believe that they may have lived in separate households. The original image shows them living together and the LDS index is incorrect. But the enumerator must have been having a bad day that day because he missed their son, Elery, but apparently caught his oversight just after he entered the names of the next family. On a line all by itself on the next page, the enumerator wrote in the name of Elery Curry and correctly gave him the Dwelling and Family number that should place him with George and Ruth Curry. Unfortunately, the LDS index completely missed this Dwelling and Family number and incorrectly added Elery into the wrong family listed above his name.
