NOTE - I'm not convinced that Martha was a daughter of David Spong, Sr. Her birth year would have been about 1840 yet she was not listed on the 1850 census when she would have been only 10 years old. Perhaps she was a niece or possibly a wife of David, Jr. who was living with his father on this 1860 census.
