NOTE - The birth of daughter Martha in 1839 in Kentucky seems to be not in the logical birth location. Her younger brother, George was born in 1837 in Illinois and her older brother, Milton was born in 1841 also in Illinois. The 1840 Census of Jersey County, Illinois shows "Samuel Arenspiger". I suspect that the Family Bible from which Martha's birth date and location were taken is in error and that Martha was actually born in Illinois and not Kentucky. [Brian L. Lightfoot]
