Kathleen McGowan, 59, of Keansburg, died Monday, Nov. 28, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a nurse employed by Riverview Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her mother, Bernice Drugan Petrasek. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Surviving are her husband, Joseph McGowan; a son, Stephen Horniacek of Butler, Pa.; two daughters, Theresa Lowing of North Carolina, and Meghan McGowan of Red Bank; her father, William Petrasek of Highlands; two sisters, Linda London of Whiting , Manchester, and Laurie Whitfield of Highlands; and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive their friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday until the funeral services at 8:30 p.m. at the John P. Condon Funeral Home, 804 Highway 36, Leonardo.
