Little Bernice Drugan celebrated her sixth birthday Wednesday afternoon by entertaining a few of her friends. The following were guests: Gertrude, Florence, Raymond and Bernard Jennison; Florence, Leonard and Marcella DuBois; Rose Losinski, Margaret Behrens, and David and Margaret Drugan. The hostess was the recipient of many pretty gifts from her little friends.

Bernice C. Petrasek, 84, of Highlands, died Tuesday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was co-owner of the Montauk Boat Basin. Later she worked as a food handler for Doris and Ed's Restaurant, Highlands. Born in Winona, Minnesota, she lived there before moving to Highlands 45 years ago.

Surviving are her husband, Bill, three daughters, Linda Lundin, Middletown, Kathy McGowan, Keansburg, and Laurie Whitfield, Highlands; three brothers, David Drugan, Minnesota, Jack Drugan, Michigan, and Billy Drugan, Georgia; two sisters, Ruth Gilpin, Illinois, and Martha Drugan-Westphal, California; six grandchildren, Steve and Terry Horniacek, Jimmy Devine, Meghan McGowan, and Heather, Ryan, and Kelly Whitfield; and eight great-grandchildren, Jason, Katie, and Kristin Wombough, Anthony Morrell, Anthony, Jenna and Nicky Horniacek and Donnie Pfirman.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM Friday at John P. Condon Funeral Home, 804 Route 36, Leonardo. A funeral service will be 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Cremation services will be private.

Mrs. Vinson Rice, 253 Olmsted street, announces the marriage of her daughter, Bernice Drugan, to Paul Bobko, Chicago.The marriage took place at 8 a.m. September 17 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Chicago. Attending the couple were Mrs. Frank Lightfoot, Chicago, sister of the bride, and Warren Bobko, Chicago, brother of the bridegroom. After a southern wedding trip they will be home at 2018 West Schiller street, Chicago. Mr. Bobko is associated with his father in the Bobko Transfer Lines. The bride is a former Winonan having attended schools here. For the past three years she has been in Chicago, employed at the Raye Garment Company.
