bullet  General Notes:

Edith apparently was enumerated twice in the 1930 US Census. The first time was in April while she lived with another family as a live-in maid and was working as a waitress at a restaurant. The second time was about 2 weeks later in May while supposedly living with her parents in Trempealeau and working as a waitress in a restaurant. The next year in 1931, the Winona City Directory noted that she was living at 300 West 2nd Street which may be the same location noted on the 1930 US Census while living with the other family. The 1930 census form appears to give a location in very small print that reads "corner of 2nd and High".
