Herman Haase, 204 S. Vita Ave., died this morning, Friday, October 15, at the Lutheran hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM, from the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Alfred J. Wittmann will officiate at the services and interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

The deceased was born May 4, 1872, in Minnesota Junction, Wisconsin., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Haase. He was married June 27, 1901, to Emma Possin in the Town of Chester. He had resided in the Town of Trenton from 1901 to 1917 and since that time in this city.

Survivors are: his wife Emma of this city: three daughters, Mrs. George (Esther) Menn of the Town of Trenton; Mrs. G. (Helene) Reuter of South Milwaukee; Mrs. Carlton (Dorothy) Bergemann of Beaver Dam; three granddaughters; one brother, Emile of Nebraska; and one sister, Emma Messer of Beaver Dam. Preceding in death were: his parents; four brothers and one sister.

He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the Murray funeral home after 2:00 PM Saturday until 11:30 AM Sunday. The body will lie in state at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church on N. Center Street, from 12 noon until the hour of the service.
