Albert Possin, 602 N. University Avenue, took his life at 8:30 o'clock last night by hanging in the basement of his home. The body was found shortly afterward by his wife and the county and police authorities were notified of the occurrence. After an investigation by the sheriff and coroner it was decided not to hold an inquest.

Private funeral services will be held at the Briese & Heilmann funeral home at two o'clock Sunday afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. A. J. Wittmann of the First Ev. Lutheran church of which the deceased was a member.

Mr. Possin was born in the Town of Theresa on June 19, 1875, and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Possin. On October 10th, 1900, he was united in marriage with Amanda Krueger of the town of Theresa. He resided in the town of Theresa until he was seventeen years of age and then removed with his parents to the town of Chester. He then made his home in the town of Burnett for seven years and had resided in this city since.

Surviving are his wife, a son Herbert in Chicago and a daughter, Mrs. Verna Beier of Milwaukee. He is also survived by a grandson, Jerome, who resided with him, and five brothers and sisters. The brothers and sisters are William of Horicon; Mrs. Herman Haase of Beaver Dam; Mrs. Albert Haase of Waupun; Mrs. Andrew Messer of the town of Trenton; Adolph of Milwaukee; Gustav of Waupun; Walter and Edgar of the town of Chester. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Julius.

Mr. Possin was at the time of his death the representative of twelfth ward on the county board of supervisors, a position he had held for a number of years, and was also engaged in the sale of insurance.
