• Her obituary was published in the Winona Daily News on 17 January 1966 in Winona, MN.

Mrs. Minne Adams, 83, died Saturday afternoon at her home.

The former Minnie Shanabrook, she was born March 20, 1885 to Mr. and Mrs. David Shanabrook, Winona. She was married to Earl Adams in 1913 and he died in September 1938. The couple farmed near Trempealeau where she had lived for 60 years prior to her death.

She was a member of the Trempealeau Federated Church and its women's groups, a charter member of the South Centerville Homemakers Club and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors are: Three sons, Robert, Oak Ridge, Tenn., Gerald, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Warren, Trempealeau; one daughter, Mrs. Patrick (Mildred) Kelley, La Crosse, and 14 grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters have died.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Federated Church, the Rev. George Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Centerville. Friends may call at Smith Mortuary, Galesville, today from 7 to 9 p.m., and at the church Tuesday after 2:30 p.m.
