John Jr.'s original gravestone appears to be a modest flat marker of gray granite approximately 24" wide and 16" tall. The simple inscription reads "John A. Hoblit, 1872 - 1934". At some point in time afterwards, the large HOBLIT family pedestal monument was erected which shows his name, his wife's, and all their children on one side of the column. On the opposite side, are the names of his father and mother, along with all of their children.
