² Dessie the 8 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. District Lightfoot of Carterville died yesterday in Cabool, Missouri.

Mrs. Lightfoot and daughter were visiting in Cabool, and this morning they were expected home. Mr. Lightfoot met their train, but they did not arrive and a few moments later, he received a telegram announcing the death of his daughter. He left for Cabool at once, and no particulars of the funeral have been announced. Mr. and Mrs. Lightfoot buried a child about two months ago.
