I have just been informed of the passing of James T. Carey. Uncle Jim passed last evening in Long Beach, CA. He has been battling with prostate cancer for quite a few years, as well as other disorders. He was the youngest child of Kenneth John Carey and Helen Marion Fanning-Carey of Rockford, Winnebago, IL.
Jim is survived by a number of children, his sister Geraldine Yvonne Carey-Webb of Silver City, NM, many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in passing by his parents, his brother Gene B. Carey ; brother William S. Carey; sister Elizabeth Gean Carey-Thornton, all of Rockford, Winnebago, Il.
Uncle Jim is a peace now to begin the next adventure. He is deeply missed and will certainly remain in our hearts. He will surely be singing for us all.
