NOTE - There are some conflicts in dates from the data in this Michigan death record. While the age at death of 75 as given on the certificate indicates an estimated birth year of 1861, the actual birth date provided on the certificate was 2 Jan 1851 which would mean that his age at death of 85 instead of 75. His true birth date is believed to be 2 Jan 1859 instead of 1851 or 1861 which would give his actual age at death of 77.

What is interesting is that the name of Robert Laurence Renton who is believed to have been born in 1892 is not included with the family. Instead there is the name of Florence Renton, born about 1892. It is known that Robert L. Renton lived well into his adulthood but if the name of Florence indicates that she was the same age, then either they were twins, or contrary to various source citations, Robert was born much later, or even perhaps, Robert belonged to a different family.
