6 Anna Marie Renton, age 94, a resident of The Luther Manor of Marinette, Wisconsin, died March 12, 1995 at Rennes Health Center in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. She was born March 8, 1901 in Woodstock, Illinois to the late Carl and Ida (Jahn) Stieg. On August 16, 1919, she married Ernest Renton. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1960. She had been employed in the dietary department of the former Marinette General Hospital, retiring in 1967. Mrs. Renton was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church; the Peshtigo VFW Auxiliary and a former member of the Harmony Grange.
Surviving are one daughter Caroline "Kay" Peterson of Peshtigo, WI; two sons: Gilbert (Lorraine) Renton of Marinette, WI and Kenneth (Isabelle) Renton of Davison, MI; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles, Louis and Fred, all from Illinois and one grandchild, one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation and funeral services held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Craig Strutz, Donald Kamin, Brian Smith, Gary Malmstadt, Brian Kamin, Charles David Block, Robby Kamin, Joshua Renton, Jason Schaefer and Geoffrey Peterson.
Burial in the Harmony Cemetery.
