Bessie's death certificate indicates that she was buried at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery on 6 Apr 1987. However, a cenotaph gravestone was erected with her name on it at the Mulls Chapel Cemetery in Cooksville, Catawba County, North Carolina.

This cenotaph also has the names of Anna Reep Keller, Johnny E. Reep, Alice Reep Keller, Horace Reep, Shaw Reep, Mattie Reep, and Guy Reep.
