bullet  General Notes:

The death certificate for James gives his cemetery burial location only as "Ebenezer" but there is an Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery in both Lincoln County and Catawba County. The death certificate does not stipulate which one. James's mother was buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Catawba County but the death certificate for James specifically states that he died in Lincolnton of Lincoln County and his burial was certified by a person giving their address as Lincolnton. It is therefore assumed that his burial was at the Ebenezer Cemetery in Westport in Lincoln County.
