This death record is a little strange. I feel quite confident it is for Calvin Lightfoot in spite of the fact that it indicates that the name is " H. M. Lightfoot". Also, it indicates burial in "Saint Thomas Cemetery" when in fact he is buried in Hurricane Cemetery. (Brian L. Lightfoot)

If you were to calculate the approximate date of birth based on the age of 5m 10d from the death date of Oct 9, 1883, you would get Apr 30, 1883. This date exactly matches what appears on the gravestone for Calvin Lightfoot. However, the gravestone indicates a date of death of Sep 28, 1883 which differs from the death record above which give Oct 9, 1883.

There is a very small cemetery in Carroll County known as "Saint Thomas Cemetery" but the records are not indexed on Find-A-Grave to make a determination if "H. M. Lightfoot" is actually buried there.

I suspect that the death record has several errors on it including the name as H. M. Lightfoot instead of Calvin Lightfoot and the cemetery name as Saint Thomas instead of Hurricane.
