Shot to death by sheriff's deputies when still a young man for running from the law. I am told that he left a widow and children, but no information on them, died in jail in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

Fred was shot and killed by police about an incident that did not pertain to him. Died in Sapulpa, OK. Fred was buried in Sunrise cemetery, to the right of his father's grave. There is a small stone marked in blue paint with his name, but no death date.

Fred had a yearly ritual with his chickens. Every spring, he would steal a duck egg from a nest and place it under a hen's nest. When the eggs would hatch, the duck would go right for a pond and swim in it. The mother hen would go nuts on the edge of the pond, until the ducking swam back ashore.
