⁷ Benjamin Franklin Culler, an old resident of this neighborhood, died Friday, June 30, after a lingering illness. He was born September 30, 1841, being the age of 80 years and 9 months. He was united in marriage to Letetia Robinson, March 5, 1863, to which union four children were born, being Elza E. Culler, Irvin D. Culler, Alta M. and Myrtle. Alta having preceded him in death April 2, 1899. Besides the widow he leaves three children and two sisters, Mrs. H. H. Mowers, of Soonerhill, and Mrs. L. S. Dome, of Toledo. Also six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He united with the Mt. Zion Church in early life and remained an active member until death. The funeral was held at Mt. Zion Church Monday, July 3, the services being conducted by his pastor, Rev. G. S. Bright.
