Their son, Henry, would marry Margaret Ann Houser, daughter of Abraham Houser and Barbara Arnspiger. Sarah's sister, Amanda, had already married George Mountjoy in 1849. Her other sister, Margaret, would marry Robert Mountjoy in 1866.
