----------------------------------------

Catherine Houser married Stephen Arnspiger while her brother, Abraham Houser, married Barbara Ann Arnspiger, who was a niece to Stephen.
----------------------------------------

Stephen Arnspiger was a wagon maker and lived in the Morgan Mill community. He and his wife were charter members in the Eminence Christian Church. They both died of malaria within a short time of each other. Amanda, the oldest daughter, made a home for young Susan and Margaret until they were old enough to work out. Sarah was sent to live with William Mountjoy and his wife.
----------------------------------------

If Steven Arnspiger and Catherine Houser are actually buried in Morgan Cemetery, then there is no marker or stone for either one of them. This is a very old cemetery with the only access road through the end of a farmer's driveway and fields. It is maintained by the county and as 2002, the name is officially called "Gilbert Cemetery" because of the last landowner of the farm was Gilbert when the county took over perpetual maintenance. But to all of the locals, the cemetery is still known as "Morgan Cemetery", named after Mrs. Morgan who originally donated the land for use as a cemetery.

As of September 2002, the cemetery is poorly maintained with only one or two mowings during the summer months, and then apparently without regard to knocking over or cutting into the few stone markers that are still visible there. Most of the approximately 20 visible gravestones are very badly weathered and broken into several pieces. There are no new burials allowed because there are supposed to be many unmarked graves and there are no official records of burials or their locations. The old "Eminence Church" used to stand right across the road that once passed in front of the cemetery. Surnames that I noted there in September 2002 include Ewing, Howser, and Renfros. (Brian L. Lightfoot)
