  General Notes:

Elizabeth Bowman, daughter of Phillip Casper and Katy Bowman, was born 12 Nov 1774. Her entire life was spent in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. She was the eldest child of twelve children of Phillip Casper Bowman.

Elizabeth Bowman married Daniel Stentz of Fayette County 13 Aug 1801. Daniel Stentz was born 19 May 1779. They located on a farm in Fayette County near Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

When the parents of Elizabeth Stentz and her brothers and sisters moved to Ohio in 1806, Elizabeth and her husband remained in Pennsylvania. They both lived to be old. Daniel Stentz died 11 Jan 1853, aged 74 years. Elizabeth Stentz died 31 Aug 1861, aged 87 years. They raised a family of six children.
