-----------------------------------

It would seem that the marriage between Richard Baker and his 1st wife, Vera Glawe, did not last long. The 1930 US Census of Rockford, Illinois shows Richard living with a 2nd wife named Doris who was born in Wisconsin about 1907. The census also indicates that Doris had been married for only 1 year but that Richard was married 5 years ago, no doubt to his 1st wife, Vera B. Glawe. There are no records indicating whatever happened to Vera, whether she was divorced or whether she died young.
