⁵ Juanita A. Miller, 86, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016, at Lutheran Living.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Chaplain Susan Bantz will officiate. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2106, at the funeral home.

Juanita was born on April 26, 1930, in Muscatine, the daughter of Joseph and Eunice Wymer Whisler. She married Kenneth Diehl on June 12, 1948, and he preceded her in death in 1977. She later married Clark Miller on June 20, 1980.

She worked at Hon Industries and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, and the Hon Retirees. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, cooking and baking for her family.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Clark Miller of Muscatine; five daughters, Janet Guyer and husband, Wayne, of Iowa City, Barbara Geertz of Muscatine, Anita Lange and husband, Keith, of Muscatine, Karen Diehl of Fairfax, and Peggy Decker and husband, Rick, of Muscatine; six step-children, Michael Miller and wife, Leslie, of Mount Pleasant, JoAnn Burns and husband, Larry, Don Miller, Ron Miller and wife, Lisa, and Jim Miller, all of Muscatine, and Connie Whitehall and husband, Denzel, of Nichols; 10 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Betty Thompson of Cedar Rapids, Fran Whisler of Wapello, Ella Marie Diehl and Nora Diehl, both of Aledo, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; one step-son, Keith Miller; one step-son in infancy, Lonnie; and one great-grandchild; four brothers, Joseph, Edward, Woodrow, and Albert; and five sisters, Manerva Whisler, Susie Brenner, Nora Clevenger, Ida Nicewarner, and Eva Hidlebaugh.
