.

• She has alternate birth date of 5 November 1840 and a birth location of , Logan County, IL.

This alternate birth date is deemed not plausible because the 1840 census conducted on 1 Jun 1840 showed the presence of one female under the age of 5. There were no other daughters in the family so therefore the one female infant that was present must have been Lorinda. Of course, there is the remote possibility that there was an unknown daughter that could have been between the ages of 1 and 5 and then with the birth of Lorinda in November 1840. But there are no other records to indicate the presence of yet another unknown daughter therefore the young child on the 1840 census must have been Lorinda and she must have been born before 1 June 1840.
