Marriage Notes:
Names on marriage license were "John Howzer" and "Polly Arnsparger". Or it may be just a common spelling error when his name was written into the record.

Jessamine County Book of Marriages, page 36, lists "Houser-Howser, John ( groom)" and "Polly Arnsparger (bride)" on 20 Jan 1800. It also shows "Abram Howser" as the bondsman, and "Powell Arnsparger (FB)" as giving consent. I assume that "Powell" is "Paul Arnsparger" and that "FB" means "Father of Bride".
